SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

At Athena Procopiou, we are dedicated to making sure that your order arrives as safely and as soon as possible.

Our delivery options and costs vary depending on the location of the delivery address specified on checkout. For deliveries within the UK, orders will be sent using Royal Mail for free, unless the Next Day Delivery has been opted. Overseas orders including the EU and the Rest of the World will be shipped using DHL Express or UPS. 

All purchases will be delivered and beautifully wrapped in Athena Procopiou’s signature packaging.

SHIPPING TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION OR UKRAINE? 

Please note that no refunds or exchanges will be accepted for customers ordering items to be shipped to the Russian Federation and Ukraine. All sales to the Russian Federation and Ukraine are final.

UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

Post delivery: 

Free shipping applies to UK deliveries. 

Express Delivery:

We offer an Express delivery to any address within mainland UK, which costs £10. This Express service is a next working day service, however certain remote areas in mainland UK could be longer. Please note that to receive your order on the next working day pending clearance of payment, be sure to place your order before 1pm from Monday to Thursday.

Any orders placed on Friday before 1pm will be delivered on the following Monday. Any orders placed after 1pm on the Friday and over the weekend will be delivered on the following Tuesday. 

All Next Day deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure your delivery address is attended. We recommend providing a business address where possible, or where someone will be able to sign for the delivery between 9am and 6pm.

EUROPEAN DELIVERY

We regret to inform you that we do not offer Post Delivery anymore due to parcels getting lost or taking too long too arrive at destination. 

Standard Delivery:

For shipping outside of the UK, we use a UPS Standard service with UPS for delivery to countries in the EU

Prices can vary between £22.00 to £30.00. 

Deliveries will usually arrive within 2-5 working days from the date of shipment.

All deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure your delivery address is attended. We recommend providing a business address where possible, or where someone will be able to sign for the delivery between 9am and 6pm.

Express Delivery:

For a faster delivery, we use UPS Express Saver. This service has a guaranteed 1-3 working day service to most EU destinations if your order is placed before 1pm Monday – Thursday.

Prices can vary between £30.00 - £50.00.

USA & CANADA DELIVERY

We regret to inform you that we do not offer Post Delivery anymore due to parcels getting lost or taking too long too arrive at destination. 

We offer a UPS Express Saver service for delivery to the USA & Canada, which costs between £15.00 - £35.00. This service has a guaranteed 1-3 working day service to most US & Canada destinations if your order is placed before 1pm Monday – Thursday.

Prices quoted do not include any import duties or local taxes, for which the recipient is responsible.

REST OF WORLD DELIVERY

We regret to inform you that we do not offer Post Delivery anymore due to parcels getting lost or taking too long too arrive at destination. 

We offer a UPS Express Saver service for delivery to the Rest of the World, which costs between £30.00 - £55.00. This service has a guaranteed 2-4 working day service to most destinations if your order is placed before 1pm Monday – Thursday.

Prices quoted do not include any import duties or local taxes, for which the recipient is responsible.

DELIVERY ADDRESS

We are unable to redirect your order once it has been dispatched. Please ensure that you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

TRACKING MY ORDER

On placing your order we will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. As soon as payment is processed, you will receive another email to inform you that your purchase has been shipped.

Each item will be assigned a tracking number as soon as it leaves the warehouse, enabling us to locate your package. When your order has been dispatched, we will contact you directly with an order tracking number.

If you have not received your order within 10 working days or if at any time you have a question regarding the status of your order, please contact us directly at shop@athenaprocopiou.com where we will be happy to look into your request and assist you in any way we can.

INSURANCE

We insure each purchase from dispatch and during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified address. Upon delivery to the specified delivery address, responsibility of your order transfers to you and is no longer covered by our insurance. If you are returning an item and loss or theft occurs, Athena Procopiou Ltd cannot be held responsible.

TAXES & DUTIES

If you order items for delivery outside of the EU, they may be subject to import duties and taxes that are your responsibility where they apply. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, and they remain the responsibility of the customer. If local import taxes apply, the shipping company will contact you by telephone once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. This may delay your delivery time, as goods held at customs will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods. Please be aware that if you don’t choose to pay the import taxes we reserve the right to charge any additional costs incurred by Athena Procopiou Ltd to you.

Please note that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities. You are considered the importer of record for the items you order through our website and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the items are to be delivered. Athena Procopiou Ltd are required by law to declare an accurate commercial value on all non-EU shipments. We are unable to honor any requests to adjust the actual value of an order on the customs documentation.

ITEM AVAILABILITY

Because stock quantities are not updated in real time, items may be sold out at the time of purchase. If a sold-out item is purchased, you will be notified by email and will get a full refund.

RESTRICTIONS

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer shipping to PO Box addresses.

Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to have the shipment redirected to an alternative address.
